Forearms v's hands

When it comes to returning the club into impact, all to often I see players using pulling or pushing motions and then a save with their hands.

The correct use of the muscles should involve the forearms, as seen in the photo above taken from hogan's 5 fundamental's book.

All to often it has been mis-interpreted that the bowed left wrist is in isolation of the forearms when in fact this is not the case.

Look carefully at the photo.
