Hazards On The Golf Course

By Darren

When it comes to Hazards on the golf course most of us think of a water hazard or a bunker as they fall under the definiton of the word hazard in the rule book.

However at the Valspar Championship on the P.G.A Tour this week a 12 foot Gator stopped play as it wondered across the fairway.

In all seriousness you will probably never come across a Gator but do be always on the look out for snakes anytime you look for your ball in  the rough.

Also another Hazard you may have never considered is poison. Never lick your ball to clean it as it will have picked up poisons from the course used by the green keepers which can be very harmful to your health.
