2013 Masters Countdown

By Darren

With the Masters beginning on April 11th much hype surrounds Tiger Woods leading into the tournament and whether he can win his first major championship since 2008.

Sure he has won 14 majors and is 4 behind the record held by Jack Nicklaus but the 15th major is proving to be the hardest for Woods.

In his favour Tiger has three PGA Tour wins already in 2013 and six wins in the last year on tour and so it appears he has learned how to win again and thinks that he can't just break Nicklaus' record of 18 major wins, but shatter it.

It's an interesting concept to think that Woods thinks he can win six more majors at the age of 37, but remember that he used to pin Nicklaus' major record to his wall as a kid, so he obviously isn't scared to shoot for the stars.

Whatever happens it is going to be great to watch.
