Adam Scott 2012 Australian Open

By Darren

As I mentioned in the last blog and you are probably well aware of by now, the rules affecting the anchoring of the club to the body have been set to change from 2016.

Well, be that as it may, it seems there is a little more to a player preserving their careers and some players are making the switch now.

Adam Scott has done just that. At this weeks 2012 Australian Open Adam Scott has opted not to use the long putter that only just 2 weeks ago helped him win the masters in an epic win over Ian Poulter.

Or at least that is what I witnessed today at the practice round, and I say this because the way he was putting it didn't seem as good as when he used his broom stick.

Guess we will have to wait and see. The photo shows his long version of a non anchored stroke.
